New all-alcohol take-home license in Maynard

The law lets Maynard issue one extra take-home all-alcohol license to Maynard Corner Store LLC at 49 Walnut Street. The license follows state liquor rules in chapter 138, except section 17. The town must issue it within 1 year after the law takes effect.

License fixed at 49 Walnut Street

The license cannot be moved to another address. The town may grant it to a new applicant at 49 Walnut Street only with letters from the Department of Revenue and the Department of Unemployment Assistance showing good standing and that all taxes, fees, and contributions are paid. If the license is ended, not renewed, canceled, revoked, or not used, it must be returned to the town. The town can reissue it at the same address within 3 years after the return; if not, the license dissolves. When the new all-alcohol license is issued, the business must return its current wine-and-malt take-home license to the town.
