New Swansea Mall liquor licenses with limits

The Swansea licensing board can issue up to 6 new on‑premises liquor licenses in the Swansea Mall Redevelopment Area. Each license is marked “Swansea Mall Redevelopment Area.” License holders may serve alcohol only in a restaurant (common victualler) dining room and in other public rooms the board approves in writing. Licenses cannot be sold or moved outside the area; if a license ends, it must be returned and may be reissued within the area. A new applicant must file letters from the Department of Revenue and the Department of Unemployment Assistance showing all taxes, fees, and unemployment contributions are paid. All licenses authorized by this law must be issued within three years after it takes effect, which is upon passage.

2019 Swansea liquor law repealed

The law repeals Chapter 151 of the Acts of 2019. That 2019 law no longer has any effect in Swansea. The repeal takes effect upon passage.
