Olde Village Store beer and wine license
The law lets Somerset grant one more off-premises beer and wine license to Olde Village Convenience Store at 2756 County Street. It follows state alcohol laws in chapter 138, except section 17. The license cannot be moved to another address. A new owner at the same address can get it only with letters from the state Department of Revenue and the Department of Unemployment Assistance showing all taxes, fees, and contributions are paid. If the license ends or is not used, it must be returned. The town can reissue it at the same spot within three years; after that it dissolves. The town must issue the license within one year after the law takes effect.
