Arlington updates Redevelopment Board authority

The law replaces “Select Board” with “Redevelopment Board” in section 10 of the town manager act. It deletes language that barred the Redevelopment Board from Board of Survey powers and that kept those powers with the Select Board unless town meeting acted. It removes “Board of Survey” from section 26 and changes “surveyors” to “regulators.” These updates change which board is named for some land-use and subdivision functions. The act takes effect upon its passage.
