Natick chief works longer without pension growth

This exception lets only Natick Police Chief James Hicks serve past 65 while mentally and physically able to do his job. His service ends at age 67, retirement, or removal by the Select Board, whichever comes first. The board may require annual medical exams by its chosen physician, at the town's expense. After 65, no further pension contributions are deducted from his regular pay. When he retires based on age, his pension equals what he would have received by retiring at 65.
