Brian Lauzon can work longer, pension capped

This individual exception lets Brian Lauzon serve as Natick’s deputy police chief until age 67. Service ends sooner if he retires or the Select Board removes him at its discretion. He must remain mentally and physically able to perform his duties; the Board can require yearly exams by its chosen doctor, paid for by the town. No further pension deductions come from his regular pay for work after age 65. When he retires based on age, his pension equals what he would have received by retiring at 65.
