Boston police age limit waived for Cherell Mellace

The Boston Police Department waives the maximum age rule for Cherell Mellace. If he meets all other hiring rules, he is eligible to have his name certified for original appointment as a police officer. This exemption applies only to Cherell Mellace and does not change age rules for other applicants. The law takes effect upon passage.
