Swampscott conservation commission can use alternates

The Swampscott Select Board can appoint up to two alternate Conservation Commission members. Their terms cannot exceed three years. The commission chair can designate an alternate when a member is absent, unable to act, or has a conflict of interest. The chair can also designate an alternate for a vacant seat until the vacancy is filled.
