One liquor license per owner in Prince George’s

Beginning July 1, 2026, one person may not hold an interest in more than one alcoholic beverage license issued by the Prince George’s County Board. This applies even if the person holds the interest for someone else. The rule applies only to businesses and premises in Prince George’s County.

Class B and bowling license exceptions

Beginning July 1, 2026, the one‑license limit does not apply to these: Class B–ECF/DS; Class B on‑sale beer and wine; and Class B on‑sale beer, wine, and liquor. A separate exception also covers bowling alleys with at least 30 lanes and automatic pinsetters, but only if their licenses were issued before June 1, 1982. These exceptions apply only to Prince George’s County licenses.
