Higher pay for Anne Arundel license board members

Beginning July 1, 2026, the chair of the Anne Arundel County Board of License Commissioners receives at least $21,240 a year. Each other board member receives at least $17,700 a year. These salaries include any cost-of-living increases given to Anne Arundel County nonrepresented employees. The chair and members are reimbursed for reasonable work expenses.

More pay and $300 allowance for Anne Arundel inspectors

Beginning July 1, 2026, the part-time deputy chief inspector is paid at least $18,000 a year. Each part-time inspector is paid at least $8,260 a year, with up to 18 inspector positions. These salaries include any cost-of-living increases given to Anne Arundel County nonrepresented employees. With Executive Director approval, each inspector also receives a $300 monthly expense allowance ($3,600 a year if paid).
