Cecil County Class A license limits

Beginning July 1, 2026, Cecil County limits Class A liquor licenses to one for every 2,000 registered voters, or a major fraction, in each election district. The Board uses current voter registration to set the cap, and applies it by district. Each district must have at least two Class A licenses. Only Class A licenses count toward this quota. These rules apply only in Cecil County and affect businesses that apply for or hold Class A licenses.
