Post local contact on EV chargers

Beginning July 1, 2026, EV charging station owners must display a local contact’s name, address, and phone number. The notice must be on or right next to the device. This gives customers a clear person to reach.

EV charging billed by kWh, fees itemized

Beginning July 1, 2026, all retail EV charging is measured and sold in kilowatt-hours (kWh). During a session, you are charged only for the kWh actually delivered. Stations may add a separate fixed or time-based service fee, but only at the end of the session. The fee must be listed on your receipt.
