Worcester County - Alcoholic Beverages - Temporary To-Go Event Permit and Class C Per Diem Municipal To-Go Beer, Wine, and Liquor License

Worcester restaurants can sell to-go at events

Beginning July 1, 2026, licensed restaurants or hotels with a Worcester County Class B or Class D license can get a Temporary To‑Go Event Permit. Your business must be in or right next to a special event area named in a municipal license. The permit lets you sell beer, wine, and liquor in Board‑approved cups that people can carry into the event area. The permit costs $20 per day and lasts the same days as the municipal license. Only Berlin, Pocomoke City, and Snow Hill can get the Class C per‑diem municipal to‑go license, for up to 7 straight days, at $45 per day. The Board sets rules for hours, ID checks, approved cups, public notice, hearings, and event security.
