Higher pay for Prince George's State's Attorney

Beginning October 1, 2026, the Prince George's County State's Attorney is paid $250,000 a year. Pay and any related expenses are issued in equal semimonthly checks. The new salary does not apply to someone serving a term that began before October 1, 2026. It starts at the next term for that office. If someone is appointed or elected after October 1, 2026 to fill an expired term, the $250,000 rate applies.
