Maryland seniors 62+: Cheaper state parks

Beginning October 1, 2026, if you are 62 or older and have a Maryland Golden Age Pass, you get key park savings. You enter any Maryland State Park for day use for free when the park charges a fee. If the park charges per vehicle, everyone in your vehicle enters free. You camp overnight for half the posted price Sunday through Thursday; holidays are not discounted. You can launch a boat at state parks for free. The pass is issued by the Maryland Park Service. The law does not change base fee amounts or other permit or registration rules.
