Higher pay for Anne Arundel board and inspectors

Beginning July 1, 2026, pay floors rise for Anne Arundel’s liquor board. The chair earns at least $21,240 a year. Each other member earns at least $17,700. The part-time deputy chief inspector earns at least $18,000. Each part-time inspector earns at least $8,260. Pay includes any cost-of-living raises for nonrepresented county employees. The chair and members can be repaid for reasonable expenses. Inspectors also get a $300 monthly expense allowance if the Executive Director approves. The board may employ one part-time deputy chief inspector and up to 18 part-time inspectors.
