New beer and wine license for Harford health clubs

The law creates a beer and wine license just for health clubs in Harford County. Starting July 1, 2026, clubs can apply for a 6-day or 7-day license. To qualify, the club must sell health club services, have a pool or pickleball courts, have at least 150 paying members, and own or lease property in Harford County. These rules apply only in Harford County.

Sales days and hours for health clubs

Starting July 1, 2026, a 6-day license allows sales Monday through Saturday. A 7-day license allows sales Monday through Sunday. Beer and wine may be sold for on-site drinking from 1:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Sales are limited to a bar area at a pool or an indoor lounge.
