Beginning October 1, 2026, the Maryland Department of Health runs a public online database of job training and placement programs. It lists programs that can help you qualify for or keep Medicaid and SNAP. The site shows how to apply and gives a way to contact each program. The Department updates it at least every 30 days and helps people enroll. This authority ends September 30, 2029.
Beginning October 1, 2026, the Department of Labor, the Department of Human Services, and the Department of Service and Civic Innovation accept public recommendations for training and job programs to add to the database. If a department finds a recommendation appropriate, it sends it to the Maryland Department of Health for possible inclusion. This process ends September 30, 2029.
