Beginning October 1, 2026, the Maryland Department of Health must run an in-state pharmacy cost-of-dispensing survey at least once every 3 years. In any year it runs the survey, the department must send results to the General Assembly by December 1. The law does not set pharmacy payment rates. It also removes the prior rule that required new dispensing-fee regulations after each survey.
