Quick suspensions for missed daily fishing reports
This law applies to people with a Maine marine fishing license or certificate who must file daily reports. If you miss a daily report, the Department can email you at the address on your application. If you still have not filed within 2 days of the due date, the Department may mail you a notice. That notice counts as received 3 days after mailing. After you receive it, you have 3 business days to send all missing information or ask for a hearing. If you do not do either within 3 business days, the Commissioner suspends your license or certificate.
