Insurers must give provider negotiator contact
When an insurer offers a preferred provider contract, it must give the fee schedule or payment terms. It may require a nondisclosure agreement for that payment information. The insurer must also give contact details for the employee who negotiates all contract terms, including title, phone, and email. The insurer must keep that contact info updated on its provider portal or send updates electronically. The prior rule to list all carriers covered by the contract is removed.
