Brunswick jobs fund extended, 2035 sunset
State payments into the Brunswick Naval Air Station jobs fund are allowed through calendar year 2034. Starting January 1, 2035, payments are banned. If at least 8,000 net new jobs are created in the base area before January 1, 2035, the Legislature must review whether to continue the fund. This replaces the prior cutoff date of January 1, 2031.
