Faster dental claim payments and timelines

Dental providers can send one claim to every insurer at the same time. Each insurer must pay or deny within 30 calendar days after it has all needed information, even if other insurers have not acted. On request, insurers must offer payment by electronic funds transfer through the Automated Clearing House (ACH). These rules apply to dental providers and dental insurers and must follow the superintendent’s coordination-of-benefits rules.
