State funds judicial pay under agreements
The law funds pay and stipend changes for Judicial Department workers in the administrative, supervisory, professional, and law enforcement units. Salaries and stipends are adjusted to match agreements ratified by December 31, 2025, for the fiscal years ending June 30, 2026 and June 30, 2027. The State Court Administrator may give similar, fair treatment to employees excluded from bargaining under Title 26, section 1282(5)(C, D, E, and F). The state provides up to $10 million from the General Fund Salary Plan program to cover these costs. This law takes effect only if the listed agreements are ratified by December 31, 2025.
