Qualifying farm leases skip subdivision review
Qualifying leases of all or part of a land parcel are exempt from Maine’s subdivision approval requirements. The land must be used mainly for farming or ranching as defined in Maine law. The lease must not transfer full ownership or allow construction of permanent homes.
