Maine towns gain online notice options

Maine municipalities can meet newspaper notice requirements under Title 30-A by posting online first, even when other laws conflict. They can use the newspaper’s public website or the statewide legal-notice repository. The notice must then appear in the newspaper’s next available print edition. Online notices must include all information required for newspaper publication.
