Schools get help on seizure plans

The Maine Department of Education must tell public school administrative units and approved private schools why seizure action plans matter. The department provides information and help if a school asks. A seizure action plan is a written, personalized health plan for a student diagnosed with a seizure disorder. This supports better care at school but does not require schools to adopt plans or add funding.
