Broader local input in emergency care oversight

Maine's recognized regional emergency medical services councils must represent ambulance services and emergency medical services that do not transport patients. They must also represent emergency dispatch centers, dispatchers, emergency medical training centers, and the public. Each council must regularly advise its state Board representative about issues, concerns, and policies affecting its region. These rules change local input into emergency care oversight, not household payments or benefits.
