City parking fines without posted signs

The law exempts cities and towns from a state posting rule for parking fines on city-owned property. It applies when a city has a parking ordinance for property it owns that is open to the public and the ordinance sets fines or fees. Drivers who park there can still get local tickets or fees. Signs listing the fines may not be required by state law in these places.
