Fewer site rules for developers

The law lets the Department of Environmental Protection finalize parts of its Chapter 375 rule only after removing two sections. The removed parts are Section 15-A(B)(1)(b) and Section 15-A(B)(3)(e). The department may make formatting and numbering edits to fit these changes. This changes what developers and some property owners must do for site approvals under the Site Location of Development Act and can lower some compliance costs. The law takes effect when approved and was signed June 10, 2025.
