More school choices for Maine military families

Maine school districts must give military-connected students enrollment choices when a parent is transferred or pending transfer within Maine. You can keep your child at their current school. You can enroll them in the new school before you establish residence. You can enroll them in the school where they will live with a noncustodial guardian, but only if the child will live there. If the move is in the child’s final year of high school, the transfer must follow section 20107.
