Easier base child care for active-duty families

The law exempts certain military family child care providers from Maine licensing. A provider qualifies if it is on a military installation, or it is licensed or certified by the U.S. Department of Defense or the U.S. Coast Guard as a family child care provider. The provider must serve only children of active-duty parents or guardians. This removes duplicate state licensing and can expand on-base child care options for active-duty families.
