New insulin price reporting for companies
The law authorizes the Maine Health Data Organization to finalize Chapter 800 on insulin price reporting. Companies and other entities that must report to MHDO now report insulin wholesale acquisition costs in a uniform way. The rule takes effect March 25, 2025 under the emergency clause. This makes insulin price information more consistent and easier to compare for buyers and payers in Maine.
