Funding keeps health insurance help in Maine
The law funds the Health Insurance Consumer Assistance Program. The Attorney General contracts with an independent nonprofit to run it. The state provides $300,000 in fiscal year 2025-26 and $300,000 in fiscal year 2026-27 from the General Fund. Maine residents can get help with health insurance questions and problems.
