More emergency housing aid after disasters

After a natural disaster, this law speeds up emergency housing aid when the governor files for a presidential disaster declaration and funds are appropriated. The state must transfer those funds to the housing commission right away, which may skip an allocation plan, funding notice, and public hearings. Households qualify under the emergency income rule if their combined adjusted gross income is no more than 75% of the higher median family income for their area or Missouri. The usual income and funding-allocation rules do not apply, and the law does not set an aid amount.
