Beginning October 1, 2025, manufacturers must pay monthly fees for pseudoephedrine or ephedrine products sold in or into Mississippi. The fees support the National Precursor Log Exchange, which tracks sales of these medicines. The National Association of Drug Diversion Investigators receives the fees and sets their amounts. Manufacturers must provide written proof of payment when the Mississippi State Board of Pharmacy requests it. The law does not specify fee amounts or any effect on household prices.
