Festival wine permits end July 2026

Beginning July 1, 2026, festival wine permits are repealed. Producers can no longer use that permit to sell sealed bottles or give samples at festivals. Distillers, wine makers, rectifiers, blenders, and bottlers cannot hold or have a financial interest in a festival permit after that date; they may still hold a distillery retailer permit. Starting July 1, 2026, festival sales must follow the state’s wholesale‑distributor rules; only distillery retailer permits remain exempt. The $10 annual license tax for each festival permit is removed.
