The law authorizes the Humphreys County Board of Supervisors to give up to $5,000 in 2026 to the Improved Benevolent Protective Elks of the World Hill Lodge #811. The lodge is a 501(c)(8) fraternal nonprofit that provides community and civic services in the county. Any payment must come from available county funds and be made during calendar year 2026. The county may choose whether to pay; it is not required. The law is in effect now.
