Voting rights restored for Debra Thomas

This law fully restores the right to vote to Debra Denise Thomas of Hinds County. She lost voting rights after a shoplifting conviction in Warren County on August 31, 1998. Her probation was revoked, and she served a three-year sentence before release on July 22, 2002. This change applies only to Debra Denise Thomas. It takes effect on the date the law passed, so she can register and vote now.
