Officers get hearing evidence, with redactions

Beginning July 1, 2026, law enforcement officers and part-time officers facing a Board hearing can request the evidence. The Office must give any documents it has that could be used at the hearing, any exculpatory information, and a witness list with names, addresses, and contact details. This applies when the Board is considering reprimand, suspension, cancellation, or recall of certification. The Executive Director may redact confidential parts before release.
