Since July 1, 2025, Mississippi’s Department of Public Safety makes Blue Envelope packages available on request. A driver with autism who has a license or permit can request one; a parent or guardian can request one for an eligible minor driver. The package includes an envelope, a window decal, interaction tips, and a contact card. Taking part is voluntary: drivers display the decal on the lower-left corner of the rear window and keep their registration, insurance information, license or permit, and completed contact card in the envelope in an easy-to-reach place.
