Higher fees for court transcripts

Starting July 1, 2026, the fee for a court testimony transcript or copy rises from $2.40 to $4.00 per page. Each party or person who gets one pays the fee as a court cost. Court reporters must use practical formatting to reasonably limit printed pages, which may help keep total costs down. Reporters must file an original transcript and one copy with the clerk, and cannot charge for that copy.
