Beginning July 1, 2026, the Adjutant General can transfer state land to a county, city, or other local government. The local government must let a nonprofit use the land exclusively. The use must serve the Mississippi Military Department or veterans. The Adjutant General sets the price and other terms. The law does not provide new funding or change taxes.
