The state can sell or lease the public safety site at 910 Highway 11 & 80 in Meridian (about 8.85 acres) to Compass Datacenters JAN I, LLC. The Department of Finance and Administration handles the deal for Public Safety and must include a legal description in the deed. The price must be at least fair market value based on the average of two licensed appraisals; at least one appraiser is picked by the Department of Public Safety. The buyer pays all closing costs. All money from the sale or lease goes to the State General Fund.
