Nutrient plan help for poultry farmers

Beginning July 1, 2026, Mississippi State University Extension and Alcorn State University are authorized to help Mississippi poultry farmers prepare nutrient plans required by state or federal law. Help may include technical guidance, on-site evaluations, planning, and compliance documents. The universities do not have to provide services without adequate funding.
