City and county funding for Natchez, Inc.

The law lets the City of Natchez and Adams County give money each year to Natchez, Inc., a local nonprofit for economic development. If the city pays, it must give between $100,000 and $150,000 each fiscal year. If the county pays, it must give between $165,000 and $225,000 each fiscal year. These payments are optional and decided each year by the city and county. This authority remains in place through July 1, 2030 and takes effect upon passage.
