Board must prefer Mississippi Industries for the Blind

When two or more bids are equal in price, quality, and service, the Board prefers Mississippi Industries for the Blind. The same preference applies to purchases made without competitive bids. This rule starts July 1, 2026.

One-year funding for Massage Therapy Board

The law provides $199,100 from the State Board of Massage Therapy Fund for July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027. The money covers the Board’s operating costs for that year. Funds are available beginning July 1, 2026.

Board recordkeeping and budget rules

The Board keeps full accounting and personnel records in the same format used in Fiscal Year 2026. It submits its Fiscal Year 2028 budget with the same detail as the Fiscal Year 2027 request. These rules start July 1, 2026.
