Voting rights restored for Dennis Hopkins

Beginning July 1, 2026, Dennis Hopkins of Marshall County, Mississippi can vote again. He was disqualified on March 6, 1998 after convictions for two counts of grand larceny in Union County and a related burglary in Marshall County. He completed his sentence and was discharged on April 30, 2001. The law fully restores his right to vote and applies only to him.
