New rules for school election judges

Election judges must be registered voters in the school district they serve. If the county election administrator runs the election, judges must be registered voters in that county. A judge cannot be the candidate, or a parent, child, grandparent, grandchild, brother, or sister of the candidate. A judge also cannot be the spouse of the candidate or of any of those relatives. Judges must complete state training and be certified. The law takes effect immediately.
