Nonresident base hunting license now $100

In Montana, a nonresident base hunting license now costs $100 per license year. It used to cost $15. Of this amount, $90 is a hunting access fee the department uses for hunting access programs allowed by state law. You must buy the base license once each license year. You must have it before you apply for other hunting licenses or for a Class A-2 special bow and arrow license.
